Meet Edwin Perera – Your Career Coach
I’m Edwin Perera, and I’ve been in the career development game for nearly 12 years. My background includes work as a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant, University and TAFE Careers Consultant, and a specialist in Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD). I started New Chapter® to keep supporting people and businesses, helping you make the most of your career and what the world of work has to offer.

Navigating redundancy can be hard for managers and business owners. There is the morale and emotional toll of losing staff and key personnel as well as the legal landscape to walk through.
At New Chapter we believe in creating the space in your workplace for ‘fair transitions’, this includes making minimum entitlement contributions and being a good employer.
What staff perceive as valuable in a redundancy and transition is not always equal to just final pays. We walk with you to create templates for fair transitions and stay with you to implement as deep or lightly as you need.
Owners who value their employer brand invest in these key steps to ensure that costly grievances are avoided and staff exit feeling valued and respected. After All they are the ones who will be assembling careers as your business will be adjusting to new structures and ways of working.

Four session programmes that includes CV and direction setting are $685 + GST.

Staff career workshops are half days for $555 + GST per person (available from 5 – 15 people).
